Q: The following error appears when I try to run the game: "CONN8A8B CAUSED A GENERAL PROTECTION FAULT IN CONNECT.EXE." How do I solve this problem?

A: Change the video driver to SVGA 640 x 480 x 256.

In Win 3.11:
  •  
  • go to Main\ Windows\ Setup
  •  
  • click on Options\ Change System Settings
  •  
  • hit the scroll button on the display box and scroll to SVGA 640 x 480 x 256

    In Win 95:
  •  
  • select Start\ Settings\ Control Panel
  •  
  • select Display\ Settings tab
  •  
  • set the display area to 640 x 480, the color palette to 256, and the video adapter to SVGA.

    Q: This message appears when I save the game: "FILENAME IS TOO LONG OR NO ACCESS TO DRIVE." How do I correct this problem?

    A: This message appears when you try to save to the CD itself. Make sure when you save your game that the C: drive (or whichever hard drive the software is installed on) is selected.

    A: This is caused by not allowing enough mount time for the 2nd CD. Insert the 2nd CD and wait about 15 seconds.

    A: This happens when the saved game has been corrupted. The solution is to re-save and rename the game.
