The patch upgrades the earth.exe file. It
doesn't take you to Beyond Planet Earth. If you
clicked on the patch and it doesn't find
earth.exe on your hard drive, you need to
reinstall Earth then try patch again. Download
the patch to a 3.5" diskette and execute it from the
diskette. Keep the diskette as a backup.

Run ScanDisk and Disk Defragmenter.
In Windows 95, these two functions can be found
under Accessories\ System Tools.
Turn off all TSR's (Terminate and Stay Resident
programs, e.g. Norton AntiVirus) and try again.
Please check your software manuals for specific
instructions for disabling any TSR.
