Q: I downloaded the patch from the Internet but when I try to use it, my cursor changes into an hour glass and doesn't do anything else. How do I resolve this problem?

A: Try to download the patch again. The download either didn't finish or your connection to the Internet server might have been lost.

Q: I used the patch but nothing happened. I clicked on the patch again and still nothing happens!! How do I resolve this problem?

A: The patch upgrades the earth.exe file. It doesn't take you to Beyond Planet Earth. If you clicked on the patch and it doesn't find earth.exe on your hard drive, you need to reinstall Earth then try patch again. Download the patch to a 3.5" diskette and execute it from the diskette. Keep the diskette as a backup.
